Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, V - losange 35° d'angle d'arête, taille 13 avec rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux FM2 est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une bande d'usure en dépouille stable et modérée. Elle convient également aux fontes et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
