Plaquette négative double face, en V - angle d'arête de 35°, taille 16 avec un rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux KM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et une large bande de facette stable. Elle convient également, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers et aux matériaux durs. Et le substrat MT-CVD revêtu, à base de WC-Co T5405. convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (pièces moulées en alliages de fer et de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et coupe continue.
