Plaquette de tournage négative double face, angle inclus de 35° en forme de V (rhomboïde), taille 16 avec un rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux M est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et un listel négatif/stable et modéré. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et d'une gradation fonctionnelle, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (pièces moulées en alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et coupe continue.
