Plaquette négative double face, W - trigon, taille 6 avec un rayon de coin de 0,4 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux KM est polyvalente et le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen de la fonte. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un T-land stable et large. Elle convient également, sous certaines conditions, pour les aciers et les matériaux durs. Le substrat T5405 en WC-Co, revêtu de MT-CVD, convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
