Plaquette négative double face pour tournage, W - trigone, taille 6 avec rayon de bec de 0,4 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux M est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une bande de listel négative/stable, modérée. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD à gradient fonctionnel, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers alliés ≤ 10 % et d'une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
