Plaquette de tournage négative double face, W - trigon, taille 6 avec rayon de coin de 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux M est polyvalente et le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen de la fonte. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et un listel négatif/stable, modéré. Elle convient également pour les aciers et, sous certaines conditions, pour les matériaux durs. Le substrat T9425 revêtu de MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45 HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
