Plaquette négative double face, W - trigone, taille 6 avec rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux NF est tranchante et constitue le premier choix pour la finition fine des aciers et des aciers inoxydables. Elle présente un angle de coupe très positif et un T-land très positif et étroit. Elle convient également sous certaines conditions aux fontes, aux alliages non ferreux et aux superalliages, ainsi qu'au substrat à gradient fonctionnel T9425 revêtu MT-CVD, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Elle convient aux matériaux suivants : M - acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec ≥ 11 % de chrome), P - acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
