Plaquette de tournage négative double-face, W - trigon, taille 6 avec rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux SM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des aciers et superalliages. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un T-land stable et modéré. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables, aux fontes, et conditionnellement aux alliages non ferreux et aux matériaux durs. Et le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et d'une structure fonctionnellement graduée, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11 %), K - Fonte (alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone).
