Plaquette négative double face, W - trigon, taille 6 avec un rayon de bec de 1,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux NM est tranchante et conçue pour l'usinage moyen des aciers, des aciers inoxydables et des superalliages. Elle présente un angle de coupe très positif et un listel positif et modéré. Elle convient également, sous certaines conditions, aux alliages non ferreux. Et le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et d'une gradation fonctionnelle, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : M - Aciers inoxydables (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec ≥ 11 % de chrome), P - Aciers et aciers moulés (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45 HRC) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
