Plaquette négative double face, W - trigon, taille 8 avec rayon de pointe de 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux W-MR, doté d'une arête de wiper, est conçue pour la finition des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une surface d'appui large et stable. Elle convient également, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables et aux fontes. Le substrat T9425 à revêtement MT-CVD et à gradient fonctionnel, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P, convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
