Plaquette négative double face à plaquette en W-trigone, taille 8 avec rayon de pointe de 1,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux FM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour la finition des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un listel positif et étroit. Elle convient également, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables et aux superalliages. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD à gradient fonctionnel, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers alliés ≤ 10 % et d'une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et à la coupe légèrement interrompue.
