Plaquette négative double face, W - trigon, taille 8 avec rayon de pointe de 1,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux KM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un listel stable et large. Elle convient également sous certaines conditions aux aciers et aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T5405 est en WC-Co, revêtu MT-CVD. Il convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupes légèrement interrompues.
