Plaquette de tournage négative double face, W - trigon, taille 8 avec un rayon de coin de 1,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux M est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une bande T négative/stable et modérée. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et d'une gradation fonctionnelle, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
